  • How often should I service my HVAC system?

Most manufacturer's recommend annual inspection and cleaning by a professional HVAC technician.

  • What is the warranty like on a new HVAC system?

All Washington contractors provide at least a 1 year no fault warranty, we offer a 2 year. Manufacturer warranty can range from 3-13 years depending on the product.

  • Which HVAC system is right for my home?

That depends on your home, and your needs. There is no "1 size fits all" solution.

  • How do I know if I need a new heater or air conditioner?

The average lifespan of a properly maintained furnace is 15-20 years. But, generally we recommend changing the equipment when repairs are no longer a viable option. By this we mean parts are no longer available or when the cost of repairs exceeds a certain percentage of the cost of a replacement.

  • How often should I check my air filter?

In most systems, checking the filter is not possible without specialty tools to measure the amount of blockage. So we just recommend changing your filter every 6 weeks to 3 months of usage. But you really should discuss this with the technician on his visit while in your home.

  • How often should I clean my air filter?

If you have an Electronic Air Cleaner (EAC) or other filter system that allows for cleaning, it should be professionally cleaned at least once per year and have the pre-filters vacuumed at least quarterly.

The ideal indoor humidity level should be between about 30-50%.

  • What Size Heating and Air Conditioning System Do I Need?
